Material Planner

Job Overview As a Material Planner with Trane Technologies’ Commercial Business Unit, you will collaborate with manufacturing teams to manage raw material and component purchases across multiple sites, ensuring timely delivery to support assembly operations. Schedule Monday to Thursday onsite with colleagues; Fridays flexible work location. Responsibilities Plan and schedule raw material and component purchases by category and supplier to maintain optimal inventory levels and support production requirements. Partner with procurement, suppliers, logistics, scheduling, engineering, quality, finance, and assembly operations. Fulfill orders by expediting, deferring, or canceling deliveries and oversee supplier compliance. Resolve purchasing issues, pricing discrepancies, and reconcile receipt-to-invoice processes. Support inventory management, data accuracy, and operational effectiveness. Participate in product life‑cycle initiatives related to design modifications, value‑engineering, and supplier sourcing changes. Engage in lean problem‑solving projects and events to create sustainable standard work. Qualifications Previous experience in supply‑chain planning, demand planning, logistics, or purchasing. Exposure to manufacturing, quality control, production planning, warehousing, or inventory control. Experience with major ERP platforms or manufacturing databases. Excellent written and verbal communication skills – frequent supplier correspondence. Compensation Annual Base Salary Range: $56,300.00 – $101,394.99. Compensation Type: Salary.
