IOP Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Tuscaloosa, Alabama patient service center. The role involves performing blood collections, processing specimens, entering patient data, and providing customer service. Monday–Thursday 8am–5pm, Fridays 8am–12pm.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other diagnostic purposes
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Process billing information and collect patient payments
- Provide exceptional customer service and support administrative duties
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience or equivalent certification
- Ability to pass color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
