About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner III to provide onsite human resources support for a busy healthcare environment in Oakland, CA. This role serves as a strategic and operational partner to leaders and employees, helping to ensure consistent HR service delivery, employee relations support, workforce planning, and day-to-day HR guidance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR partner for assigned departments, providing guidance to leaders and employees on a variety of workforce and employee relations matters.
  
• Conduct and support employee investigations while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
  
• Partner with operational leaders to address staffing, performance, attendance, employee engagement, and workforce challenges.
  
• Provide ongoing support for labor relations matters and collaborate effectively within unionized environments.
  
• Maintain continuity of HR services by responding to routine and complex employee concerns in a timely manner.
  
• Assist leaders in interpreting and applying HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  
• Coordinate with HR Centers of Excellence and other business partners to support organizational initiatives and employee needs.
  
• Support the implementation of HR programs, change management efforts, and organizational objectives.
  
• Work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic healthcare setting.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  
• 5+ years of HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or related human resources experience.
  
• Strong employee relations experience, including conducting workplace investigations.
  
• Experience supporting unionized workforces and labor relations matters.
  
• Demonstrated ability to advise leaders on complex HR issues and employee concerns.
  
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
  
• Ability to work onsite in Oakland, CA.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
