We are conducting a confidential search for a General Manager on behalf of a growing fast-casual restaurant brand. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing people leadership, operational execution, financial performance, and guest experience.

You will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including team development, staffing, scheduling, P&L performance, food and labor cost management, guest satisfaction, and day-to-day execution. This is a great fit for someone who is hands-on, highly accountable, people-focused, and comfortable leading high-volume operations while building strong teams and driving business results.

This is a unique, fast-paced leadership opportunity designed for high-energy individuals who want to grow quickly in the food service industry while also benefiting from a seasonal structure that provides a meaningful off-season.

You will lead a demanding 32-week peak operational season, where you are fully immersed in all aspects of restaurant management—honing your leadership skills, strengthening operational expertise, and driving business performance. Key Responsibilities

Restaurant Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop front-of-house and back-of-house teams to achieve operational excellence
• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, and retain high-performing employees
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and development
• Manage employee performance through recognition, accountability, corrective action, and career development
• Make staffing decisions, including promotions, disciplinary actions, and terminations in accordance with company policies
• Build a positive, high-performance culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and guest service

Operations Management

• Direct all day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and profitability
• Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, safety, and hospitality
• Ensure compliance with health department regulations, food safety standards, and company policies
• Manage inventory, purchasing, ordering, and vendor relationships
• Identify operational opportunities and implement solutions that improve efficiency and performance
• Exercise independent judgment to resolve operational challenges quickly and effectively

Financial & Business Performance

• Maintain full Profit & Loss (P&L) accountability for restaurant operations
• Drive revenue growth while achieving profitability targets
• Manage labor costs, food costs, inventory variance, and controllable expenses
• Analyze financial reports, sales trends, and operational metrics to guide decision-making
• Develop and execute action plans to improve financial performance and operational efficiency
• Ensure staffing and scheduling align with labor budgets while maintaining service standards

Guest Experience & Brand Standards

• Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality and guest experiences
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and ensure timely follow-up when needed
• Monitor guest feedback, online reviews, and satisfaction metrics to identify improvement opportunities
• Maintain consistent execution of brand standards and service expectations

Qualifications

Required Experience

• 3–5+ years of restaurant management experience with progressive leadership responsibility
• 2+ years managing supervisors, managers, or large hourly teams

• Strong business and financial acumen (P&L ownership preferred)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move throughout shifts for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Schedule Requirements

• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work up to 60 hours per week during the 32-week peak season
