Technical Support Specialist

Provide quality support with a high degree of customer service, technical expertise, and timeliness in addition to performing both routine and complex tasks to aid in the ongoing support of site-based microcomputer environments. Acquire, maintain, and expand knowledge of relevant product offerings, current support policies, and methods of support delivery, in order to provide technically accurate solutions. Lead or participate in team projects that enhance the quality or efficiency of support. Consults with end-users to determine desktop/networking needs. Studies vendor products to determine those that best meet user needs, recommending hardware and software packages and standards. Installs new hardware and maintains existing hardware. Installs software and peripherals; and network nodes, peripherals and wiring. Participates in the research of new technologies. Documents, debugs, and prepares user procedures. Trains end-users in the use of equipment and software. Requirements 5+ years of infrastructure/network experience Skills in verbal and written communications and customer service practices Associates degree in Information Technologies or related field or technical training equivalent. #J-18808-Ljbffr
