Shift-not applicable-LocationWSMDescription Tube Laser Set-up / Operator - 1st Shift JOB DESCRIPTION: The tube laser operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the tube laser. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Setup, operate, and monitor programs on the tube laser Read work orders to determine programming requirements. Perform consistent and accurate quality checks to detect and prevent part defects. Load and unload material. Accurately complete paperwork for work orders, inspections, and material storage. Troubleshoot cut issues and know how to fix them. Perform prescribed & preventative maintenance. Find, pull, and load material into the machine QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Must be at least 18 years of age or older Strong work ethic High School diploma or GED required Team player with a positive, 'can do' attitude Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform precise measurements using a caliper/precision measuring tools Blueprint Reading THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED Previous tube laser set-up, operating and/or programming experience. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment. A certificate from college or technical school is a plus. The pay range/rate of pay for this position may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
