• Patient Care: Med/Surg/Telemetry with diverse patient types including post-op, sepsis, CHF, COPD, COVID, and more

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population in the new Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit
• Conduct patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor vital signs
• Support wound management, PICC lines, drains, and pain control measures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hospitalists, PT, OT, and respiratory therapists
• Document patient care accurately in EMR (Meditech Expanse)
• Maintain compliance with safety and clinical protocols, including passing an EKG competency exam
• Float as needed to other units within the hospital

What You Need

• Valid RN license for Louisiana or ability to obtain
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• At least 2 years of RN experience in acute care settings
• Ability to pass EKG competency testing
• Strong wound care and patient monitoring skills
• Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including holidays and alternate weekends
