School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Dearborn Heights, Michigan

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Valid Michigan State SLP license or eligibility for licensure
• Previous experience with school-aged children preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Position Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Provide direct therapy services to students in both group and individual settings
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to monitor progress and adapt interventions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
