Responsibilities Developsand executessourcing strategies across hardware, software, cloud, and services to align with enterprise technology goals. Coaches, mentors, and evaluatesdirect reports to build capability, improve performance, and support career growth. Ensurescompetitive events (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs) are run effectively, documented properly, and aligned with procurement policy. Providessupport to team for escalatednegotiations and commercial analysis to deliver savings, cost avoidance, andvalue‑basedoutcomes. Managesstrategic supplier relationships, leadsQBRs, and ensuresperformance, compliance, and innovation. Collaborateswith tower leads, architects, andproject managersto forecast demand, plan sourcing pipelines, and support technology roadmaps. Ensurescontracts meet legal, data privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements. Trackssavings, RFP volume, contract throughput, and category strategy progress; report results to leadership. Recruits, selects, andonboardsnew team members to support organizational growth. Resolvessupplier issues, stakeholder conflicts, and project delays with sound judgment and diplomacy. Enforcesprocurement policies, audit readiness, and adherence to sourcing and contracting standards. Identifiesopportunities to enhance tools,processes, and team capabilities. Develops multi‑year category roadmaps aligned with business goals. Partners with engineering to influence product design for cost and supply resilience. Influences senior leaders, aligning priorities, and managing competing interests. Leverages AI, automation, and predictive analytics in sourcing. A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity. Minimum Qualifications Five or more yearsof combinedexperience performingor supervisingIT procurement, strategic sourcing, or contract negotiations. Experience indevelopingprocurement strategies, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and partnering with IT to meet technology needs. Possess a valid Class C Driver’s License. Preferred Qualifications Experience using tools such as SAP, Ariba, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Ability to develop multi‑year category roadmaps aligned with business goals. Skilled in spend analysis, cost modeling, TCO/should‑cost analysis, and forecasting. UnderstandsP&L impact, ROI, NPV, and financial health of suppliers as well as greater impact on organization Partners with engineering to influence product design for cost and supply resilience. Ability to influence senior leaders, aligning priorities, and managing competing interests. Leverages AI, automation, and predictive analytics in sourcing. Additional Information This position’s work mode ishybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work andreside in the state of California.
