Operations ManagerThe Operations Manager reports to the Division Director for Central Pharmacy and is responsible for leading and optimizing pharmacy operations that support safe and efficient medication-use processes across a large academic medical center. This role works collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance. The Operations Manager provides operational leadership for Central Pharmacy, including oversight of medication distribution workflows, automation systems, inventory management, controlled substance operations, sterile compounding, and frontline pharmacy staff. Additionally, the position partners closely with pharmacy leadership, nursing, anesthesia, and supply chain teams to implement strategic initiatives and improve operational performance. This role has primary responsibility for managing day-to-day pharmacy operations, supporting and developing pharmacists, technicians, and supervisors, and driving continuous improvement through data analytics, automation, and operational innovation. The Operations Manager is expected to lead multidisciplinary initiatives focused on medication safety, workflow optimization, regulatory readiness, employee engagement, and technology integration. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
