The Accounts Receivable Coordinator plays a critical role in managing the invoicing and collection processes for mid-sized company customers. This position ensures timely billing, monitors past due accounts, and collaborates closely with internal teams and management to maintain accurate and current accounts receivable records. The coordinator helps resolve disputes and discrepancies while adhering to accounting principles and company procedures.

 

Responsibilities

• Create and submit customer invoicing accurately and timely
• Prepare Aging Reports to monitor past due receivables
• Communicate daily with customers regarding past due invoices, payments, and disputes
• Produce weekly summary reports on past due receivables
• Enter and report adjustments on debits and credits in the Transportation Management System (TMS)
• Collaborate with team members to identify root causes and resolutions for credits and debits
• Communicate daily with internal teams to address issues on past due accounts and coordinate next steps to bring accounts current
• Maintain compliance with accounting principles and company procedures
• Provide regular updates and effective communication with corporate accounting and management
