Fuze HR Solutions is recruiting an experienced Senior CNC Programmer for an established aerospace manufacturing organization specializing in high-precision machining and complex components.

This is a hands-on opportunity for a CNC programming professional who is experienced with 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining, CNC Mill-Turn, CNC Lathes, and Mastercam and is looking to take ownership of complex machining processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do:

CNC Programming & Setup

• Develop, test, and debug CNC programs using G-code and M-code.
• Program 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC Mills and Lathes with live tooling.
• Create and maintain detailed setup sheets and tool lists.
• Use Mastercam to create computer models and CNC programs.
• Maintain accurate job records and program files.
• Edit and optimize programs directly at the machine control.

Process Improvement:

• Optimize machining processes to improve cycle times, efficiency, and cost.
• Analyze feeds, speeds, and toolpaths to eliminate unnecessary machine movements.
• Evaluate cutting tools and machining techniques.
• Perform tooling cost analysis and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Analyze drawings and design data to determine the best tooling and machining parameters.
• Assist with the design of custom tools and fixtures when needed.
• Support the implementation of new machining technologies and processes.

Collaboration & Quality:

• Work closely with Manufacturing, Tooling, Quality, and Production teams.
• Work directly with machinists on the shop floor to prove out and refine programs.
• Troubleshoot and revise programs to ensure efficient production.
• Ensure finished parts meet blueprint requirements and tight dimensional tolerances.
• Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) throughout the manufacturing process.

What We're Looking For:

Required Experience

• 5+ years of CNC programming experience, preferably in aerospace or another high-precision manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of hands-on Mastercam experience.
• 3–5+ years of CNC machining, setup, and operation experience.
• Strong experience programming and machining with:
  • 3-axis
  • 4-axis
  • 5-axis
  • CNC Mill-Turn
  • CNC Lathes with live tooling
• Ability to edit and troubleshoot CNC programs at the machine control.
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment, including:
  • Calipers
  • Micrometers
  • Bore gauges
  • Other precision measurement tools

Aerospace Materials Experience

Experience machining a variety of materials, including:

• Inconel
• Titanium
• Stainless Steel
• Aluminum alloys
• Ferrous alloys
• Copper alloys
• Delrin
• Nylon
• Other non-metallic materials

Software Experience

Required:

• Mastercam

Preferred:

• CATIA
• SolidWorks

Pay & Benefits:

$35.00–$50.00+ per hour DOE
