Responsibilities:

- Reads and comprehends instructions and follow established procedures.
- Collects all material and equipment required to begin the process.
- Takes precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components.
- Selects or modifies components according to measurements and specifications.
- Aligns material and puts together parts to build more complex units.
- Checks output to ensure highest quality.
- Maintains equipment in good condition.
- Keeps records of production quantities and time.
- Reports on issues, deviations, malfunctions or defective parts.
- Must observe all safety rules and regulations as they pertain to own job, work area and overall environment.
- Follows instructions, responds to management direction. Asks for and offers help when needed.
- Other duties as assigned/needed.
- Maintains equipment in good condition.
- Keeps records of production quantities and time.
- High school diploma/GED required, degree from technical school highly preferred, with 3 years' experience in mechanical assembly desired.
- Must be mechanically inclined -good intuition, strong dexterity, excellent hand-eye coordination and experience with hand tools and basic power tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings and follow directions required.
- Familiarity with use of measuring instruments highly preferred.
- Must be highly organized and attentive to detail, with ability to work under time constraints.
- Good understanding of quality principles and math.
- Strong verbal communication skills needed. Must be able to respond to others and ask questions appropriately. Ability to read and interpret information.
- Must be professional and accountable. Accepts responsibility for own actions. Applies feedback to improve performance.
- Must be able to lift - up to 100 Lbs.
