Mobile Diesel Technician / Truck MechanicFlexible day shift schedule available. Work 4 days (Mon-Thur) or 5 days (Mon-Fri).When you work with Clarke, you are working with an industry leader! Other duties may be assigned.Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Heavy Duty Diesel Technician.Service and repair work, engine, drive train, steering, electrical, suspension and brakesTroubleshooting and inspectionsPreventative MaintenanceGood computer skills and good verbal communication skillsMust be able to work independentlyWill perform onsite maintenance & repairs at customer's locationWill operate mobile service truck dailyPreventative Maintenance Service Background RequiredCertificates, Licenses, RegistrationsMust have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years.No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (ie., DUI/DWI).Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.Must be able to obtain DOT Medical Card.Physical and Safety RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.The associate must be able to read and write reports.Education and/or Experience5+ years Diesel Mechanic experience requiredPreferred Certificate or Degree from Diesel ProgramCDL is a HUGE plus!Why Should You Apply?Clarke is over 60 years strong and growing.
