Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities Work under a project leader and be responsible for the mechanical services design development in accordance with project objectives. Work competently on an independent basis or as part of a wider team and be responsible for reporting to senior staff. Communicate directly with clients and other design team members, including attendance at meetings. Undertake the preparation on calculations and comprehensive design associated with M&E Building installations. Manage your own workload and support a team of technicians to suit project deadlines and requirements. Prepare concept and preliminary engineering solutions for design. Prepare technical reports, documents and specifications. Establish and maintain a good working relationship with other design team members. Be actively involved in compliance with RSP Business Management Systems. Preferred Skills Experience with mechanical services design on a varying range of projects. Good and confident communication skills. Knowledge and understanding of relevant industry design software (i.e. NBS, IES, Bentley Hevacomp or similar). AutoCAD and Revit Experience. Requirements Preferably working towards being or Degree qualified and working towards CIBSE membership. 5 years + relevant experience. Valid UK Driving Licence. Willingness to do overtime, when and if required. Must be prepared to travel within the UK. This may involve early morning starts, late finishes and occasionally overnight stays. #J-18808-Ljbffr
