Psychiatric Rehabilitation CounselorCarlisle Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services ProgramLocation: 1400 Reed Street 1st Floor Philadelphia PA Schedule: Full-time Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pay: $19.00 per hour non-exempt No nights or weekendsThe OpportunityCATCH is seeking a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Counselor to join our Carlisle Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services this role you will work with adults in mental health recovery on goals they choose for themselves such as finding a job taking a class or developing a consistent routine. You will support participants through one-on-one services group activities and work in the will also collaborate with outpatient providers and psychiatrists to help ensure each participant receives coordinated Youll DoWork one-on-one with participants on recovery goals they have chosen for themselvesLead skills training psychoeducation and psychiatric rehabilitation groups using evidence-based practicesConnect participants with community resources and accompany them when helpfulHelp plan the program schedule with the participants who attendCoordinate with outpatient providers and each participants psychiatristMaintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with program agency and CBH requirementsParticipate in team meetingsComplete required psychiatric rehabilitation trainingPerform other duties as assigned by the Associate Director or designeeProfessional Development and CPRP SupportThis position prepares staff to sit for the Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) exam. CATCH pays for the required training exam and certification Youll NeedA bachelors degree in any fieldStrong group facilitation and assessment skillsSound judgment and a team-focused approachPreferred QualificationsA degree in behavioral health human services or a related fieldCPRP certificationTwo years of direct mental health service experience including one year in psychiatric rehabilitationExperience working with adultsCandidates with a CPRP or with a bachelors degree and the experience listed above may qualify at the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist level.
