Head of Human Resources

Our client, located in Nashville TN, is seeking a direct hire Head of Human Resources to join their team.

Duties:

• Oversee day-to-day HR operations for small to mid-sized employee population, ensuring efficient and compliant processes across the full employee lifecycle
• Lead talent acquisition efforts, including recruiting, offer management, onboarding, and offboarding coordination
• Administer payroll operations in partnership with a PEO/HRIS platform (Rippling), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
• Manage benefits administration, HRIS data integrity, and employee records maintenance
• Partner with leadership to support performance management, career progression, employee development, and employee relations initiatives
• Collaborate with senior leadership on culture-building initiatives and professional development programming
• Provide HR support across affiliated entities, including HRIS onboarding and process standardization
• Work cross-functionally with finance, legal, talent, and operations teams to support business objectives
• Support employee engagement efforts, company events, and internal communications
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, HR policies, and payroll regulations

Requirements:

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a fast-paced, professional environment
• A bachelor’s degree is required
• Experience managing payroll administration and HR operations independently
• Strong HR systems and technology proficiency, preferably with Rippling or similar HRIS/payroll platforms
• Comfortable balancing strategic partnership with hands-on execution
