The Role From supporting internal teams to developing next-gen materials, our professional roles span strategy, innovation, and purpose. At CNG, you'll do work that matters- and own it all. Schedule : Monday-Friday, Onsite What You'll Do Lead and grow a world-class Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) team, partnering with plant leadership to drive world-class performance. You will: Coach and develop EH&S team members while collaborating with leaders at every level, from senior leadership to front-line employees Track key performance indicators and lead continuous improvement efforts across the business unit Build EH&S strategies that align with corporate goals and reduce operational risk Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EH&S regulations through strong processes and accurate reporting Conduct regular observations, inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and eliminate workplace hazards Manage hazardous chemicals and lead efforts to prevent environmental pollution Oversee regulatory documentation, recordkeeping, and permitting to meet all deadlines Lead incident response and investigation, driving corrective and preventive actions through practical engineering solutions Oversee workplace injury cases in line with workers' compensation practices and the transitional return-to-work program Deliver EH&S training, including new hire orientation and contractor communication What You'll Bring Essential Qualifications: Bachelors Degree; preferably in EH&S, or related field. Master's degree in EH&S a plus 10+ years' experience in safety management role. Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA Regulations, DOT Regulations and Management Systems. Experience with Process Safety and Risk Management programs. Experience developing, managing, and implementing workers' compensation claims management programs Experience leading/coaching teams in the improvement of business processes and operational performance.
