Test Engineer

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Test Engineer in Jersey City, NJ. Responsibilities:
- Test Engineer will develop, maintain, and execute automated and functional test cases
- Design and enhance test automation frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support quality assurance initiatives
- Perform defect analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause identification
- As a Test Engineer, you will create and execute database validation tests using SQL queries
- Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams throughout the software development lifecycle
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and coordinate effectively across distributed teams
- Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and quality standards
- Strong experience with automated testing and test automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber
- Experience with CI/CD technologies including Jenkins, CloudBees, Bitbucket, Git, and Jira
- Experience with functional testing methodologies and software testing best practices
- Solid understanding of databases with the ability to write and optimize SQL queries
- Familiarity with Agile development environments and onsite/offshore collaboration models
- Proficiency in Java programming
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to software quality
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in collaborative, team-oriented environments
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development
