Staff Accountant

Position Overview
An opportunity to join a growing accounting team supporting the financial reporting and day-to-day operations of investment-related entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing journal entries related to investment transactions and daily fund activity
- Support the preparation of quarterly financial reports and related schedules
- Help compile audit support and work with internal teams to gather required documentation
- Assist in monitoring cash activity and tracking funding needs across entities
- Contribute to special projects and provide general accounting support as priorities evolve
Core Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Effective organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Team-oriented with a willingness to take initiative and ask questions
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
- Foundational understanding of accounting principles (GAAP preferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 1–3 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and data organization
- Exposure to accounting or financial systems
- Progress toward CPA certification is a plus, but not required
