Staff Accountant

Our client is seeking multiple detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountants to join their growing team in Towson, Maryland. This is a great opportunity for early-career accounting professionals to gain hands‑on experience in a collaborative and fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Support financial statement preparation and reporting Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies Collaborate cross‑functionally with finance and operational teams Assist with audit support and documentation requests Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 0–3 years of accounting experience (internships considered) Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP knowledge preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Public accounting internship or experience 1+ year of accounting experience CPA track or interest in pursuing CPA Base salary range: $60,000 – $70,000 Eligibility for discretionary bonus (if applicable) Comprehensive benefits package may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off If interested in this role, please apply directly or send your resume directly to View email address on click.appcast.io!
