Legal Assistant (Bilingual Spanish)

We value people who: Take ownership of their work Care deeply about client service Hold themselves to a high standard Want to continuously improve and grow You’ll Excel in This Role If You: Naturally double-check your work because details matter to you Take responsibility for outcomes Are compassionate yet professional with clients Want to grow professionally and expand your skillset Value being part of a strong, accountable team Core Responsibilities: Processing mail, including scanning and labeling Maintaining attorney calendar and ensuring all statutory deadlines are met Proactively follow up on outstanding records and reports Schedule medical appointments and notify clients Draft correspondence and legal documents Organize records and create schedule of records Communicate with clients, physician offices, adjusters and outside counsel as requested Communicate with clients to direct and gather information about their legal issues Responsibilities Draft legal correspondence, requests for supplemental information to doctors, pleadings, and other litigation documents Assist with consistent communication with clients, attorneys, and medical providers Trackand managedeadlines and ensure compliance with rules and procedures Manage tasks with minimal supervision Experience 1-3 years of California legal experience. Experience in workers’ compensation or personal injury law is a plus. Must be bilingual in Spanish Excellent legal writing and document drafting skills Demonstrates strong communication abilities Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously Highly organized with strong time management and deadline tracking skills Self‑driven, detail‑oriented, and able to follow up effectively with minimal oversight Exceptional written and verbal communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr JC Carter Law APC
