Area Operations Manager - Specialty Construction I'm partnered with an established and growing specialty contractor looking to appoint an Area Operations Manager to lead and develop its Tampa operation. The company is a national specialty contractor with a multi-state footprint and locations across the US , supporting major clients across complex commercial and industrial environments. They have built a strong reputation as a preferred contractor for repeat clients , with work spanning healthcare, airports, data centers and other technically demanding facilities . The business continues to grow geographically, making this a key leadership hire for its Florida operations. This is a senior leadership position with responsibility for overseeing multiple projects and Project Managers across a diverse portfolio. The successful candidate will act as the face of the business in the Tampa market , taking ownership of operational performance while building long-term relationships with key clients and helping drive continued growth. Key Responsibilities: Oversee multiple projects and Project Managers across the Tampa region Lead field operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably and to a high standard Manage and develop operational teams Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners Protect and expand existing accounts Support business development and help secure new opportunities Provide senior-level oversight across projects of varying size and complexity Work closely with executive leadership on the continued growth of the Florida operation Ideal Background: Strong construction operations or project leadership experience Experience overseeing multiple projects and teams simultaneously Strong client-facing and relationship-management skills Commercially minded with a solid understanding of project financial performance Comfortable combining operational leadership with client development Experience across healthcare, aviation, data centers or similarly complex environments would be advantageous Candidates do not need to come directly from the company's specific trade - they have successfully hired and developed leaders from mechanical, plumbing and HVAC contracting backgrounds This is an opportunity to take a key leadership position within a growing contractor and have a genuine influence over the development of its Tampa operation . #J-18808-Ljbffr Imperium Global
