Customs Entry Writer

Are you an experienced professional with a passion for logistics and trade compliance? We are looking for a dedicated Customs Entry Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing import documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing exceptional service to our client base

salary: $26 - $30 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Documentation & Compliance: Process import documentation through the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) portal and maintain accurate records per U.S. Customs regulations.
• Financial Processing: Execute ACH Duty payments efficiently.
• Account Management: Serve as the primary representative for your customer account base, managing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Data Accuracy: Analyze and validate import documentation and data, including managing Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) databases to ensure compliance with CBP and partner government agency requirements.
• Problem Solving: Handle requests for information and demonstrate mastery of standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Collaboration: Work across departments to deliver high-level service and transition into a trusted customs advisor role.
