Corporate Tax Senior Manager Location: Los Angeles, CA (90071)

We are seeking a Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join our growing tax practice. This role is ideal for a seasoned tax professional with deep expertise in corporate income tax and ASC 740 (Accounting for Income Taxes) who enjoys client leadership, technical excellence, and mentoring teams. The position offers exposure to a broad range of industries and complex tax matters in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Work Model: Hybrid
- Currently: Minimum 2 days per week in the office or at client site
- Effective March 2026: Minimum 3 days per week in the office or at client site
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary Range: $164,200 - $246,200 base + annual performance bonus
Relocation: Regional
We are seeking a Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join our growing tax practice. This role is ideal for a seasoned tax professional with deep expertise in corporate income tax and ASC 740 (Accounting for Income Taxes) who enjoys client leadership, technical excellence, and mentoring teams. The position offers exposure to a broad range of industries and complex tax matters in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and review corporate income tax compliance and consulting engagements
- Manage and review ASC 740 tax provisions , including complex calculations and disclosures
- Supervise and direct multiple client service teams across concurrent engagements
- Provide strategic tax planning, consulting, and compliance services to clients
- Advise on federal, state, and local income taxes, including multistate matters
- Support international tax considerations and transfer pricing in collaboration with specialists
- Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for key clients
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities, contributing to revenue growth
- Mentor, coach, and develop staff while managing projects to budget and deadline
- CPA or active JD / attorney license required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5-7+ years of progressive corporate tax compliance and consulting experience
- Strong technical expertise in ASC 740 - Accounting for Income Taxes
- Solid understanding of corporate income taxation, including state and local tax issues
- Excellent client service, communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Ability and willingness to work in a hybrid environment
- Master's degree in Taxation, LLM in Taxation, or JD
- Recent experience in public accounting or professional services
- Background with a Top 20 accounting firm
- Experience with ONESOURCE Tax Provision (OTP / OIT) software
- Exposure to international taxation and transfer pricing
- Stable employment history with limited job hopping
- High-visibility leadership role with diverse client exposure
