Senior Tax Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Tax Director to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $200,000 to $ 270,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities :- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Identify and mitigate tax risks, ensuring the company's tax practices are in line with current laws and regulations.
- Lead and mentor the tax team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage tax audits and disputes with tax authorities, providing necessary documentation and representation.
- Ensure accurate tax-related financial reporting, including the preparation of tax provisions and disclosures in financial statements.
- Work closely with other departments, such as finance, legal, and operations, to provide tax advice and support for business initiatives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in tax, with 3 years in a leadership role, mentoring and counseling associates.
- CPA certification.
- Proficiency in tax software and financial reporting systems.
- Extensive experience with corporate tax compliance and planning.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations, including international tax principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
