Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

A highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse is needed to provide skilled nursing care case management and specialized care to patients. The role involves daily patient assessments medication administration treatment planning and working closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Strong communication and collaboration with patients providers and team members are critical to success in this position.

Location:Pittsfield Massachusetts United States

Responsibilities:

- Provide skilled nursing care case management and specialized care to patients.
- Perform comprehensive daily patient assessments.
- Administer medications safely and effectively.
- Develop implement and manage individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain strong communication with patients healthcare providers and team members.
- Travel to various locations to provide field-based care.

Required Skills & Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of hospital home health or hospice care experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Valid drivers license active car insurance and a reliable automobile for field work.
- Strong clinical assessment medication administration and treatment planning skills.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Additional experience in Medical/Surgical ICU ER Psychiatric PACU or Operating Room settings.

Special Considerations:

- Must possess the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- The position requires field work necessitating reliable personal transportation.
