Pharmacist - Full-Time Contract

Position Overview:

A healthcare facility in Brooklyn, NY is seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a full-time contract assignment. This role supports pharmacy operations within a clinical setting and is ideal for a pharmacist with experience in medication dispensing systems, sterile processing, and IV room operations. The position offers a consistent full-time schedule for the duration of the assignment.

Schedule:

Five (5) shifts per week
8-hour shifts
40 hours per week

Assignment Dates:

Start Date: July 1, 2026
End Date: October 3, 2026

Responsibilities:

Review, prepare, and dispense medications in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Ensure accurate and safe medication distribution
Utilize pharmacy dispensing systems and Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Perform or assist with sterile processing and IV room activities
Maintain compliance with New York State pharmacy regulations and facility policies
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient care

Required Qualifications:

Active New York State Pharmacist license (NYSED) – Primary Source Verification required
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or higher
Minimum one (1) year of Pharmacist experience
Experience with pharmacy dispensing systems
Knowledge of sterile processing and IV room operations
Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
