Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a full time opening for a Cardiothoracic Surgical RNFA Nurse Practitioner .   Here is your chance to work with highly skilled and trained physicians who use state-of-the-art technology and innovative procedures for patients who are diagnosed with a disease of the chest, heart, lungs, esophagus or the major blood vessels and veins of the body.  

Position Details:

\n
• Full Time, 40 hours per week
\n
• Surgical Assist in cardiovascular and thoracic cases
\n
• Outpatient Ambulatory Visits & Hospital Rounding
\n
• Assess new consults in the clinic and hospital admissions
\n
• Assist with vein and radial harvesting; CABG and valve surgery
\n

Requirements Needed to Apply:

\n
• Active Texas license
\n
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with RNFA Certification
\n
• Masters Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an approved PA program
\n
• Surgical cardiothoracic experience required, hospital & ambulatory experience preferred
\n
• Additionally, experience with robotic surgery a plus.
