JobSource City of Industry is currently seeking reliable and detail-oriented Bakery Packing Associates to join our production team. This role is responsible for packaging fresh bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods while maintaining quality standards, food safety, and production efficiency. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing high-quality products.

Schedule: 5am-1:30pm Monday- Friday available weekends

Pay rate: 18.00/hr

Location : Brea,CA

Essential Responsibilities

• Package freshly baked bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area following GMP and food safety guidelines.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production goals while maintaining accuracy.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Support other production departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, food production, or bakery experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8–10 hours).
• Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures, including warm bakery environments.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced bakery production facility.
• Exposure to flour, bakery ingredients, and warm ovens.
• Must adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
