This position supports Mission Critical projects and may require full-time presence on a job site. It is designed for someone eager to learn, highly organized, and ready to grow within a fast-paced construction environment.Position PurposeThe Project Engineer I provides essential administrative and technical support to the project team, helping ensure projects are executed safely, accurately, and efficiently. This role focuses on document control, coordination support, and foundational project management skills under the guidance of experienced project leaders.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain organized project documentation using consistent filing systemsAssist with drawing and specification control and distributionPrepare, track, and distribute submittals and RFIsSupport material and equipment tracking and verificationDocument project meetings and follow up on action itemsAssist with change order documentation and justificationSupport subcontractor coordination and field communicationContribute to project closeout documentationPerform basic material quantity takeoffsFollow safety protocols and support a strong safety cultureActively seek learning opportunities and professional developmentWhat You BringStrong organizational skills and attention to detailClear written and verbal communicationWillingness to learn and take directionBasic understanding of construction terminology and processesFamiliarity with Microsoft Office and construction software toolsQualificationsAssociate 's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field or equivalent experienceEntry level construction or engineering experience preferredValid driver's license and ability to travel to project sitesWhy Guarantee ElectricalWhen you join Guarantee Electrical, you are not just starting a job.
