Embedded Software Functional Tester

Job Summary
The Embedded Software Functional Tester plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of embedded software solutions. This position involves executing test plans and test cases, logging defects, and collaborating with team members and clients to deliver high-quality software that meets specified client requirements. (1.) Key Responsibilities
1. Execute Functional Tests As Per The Test Plan And Defined Test Cases Using Embedded Software Testing Tools To Ensure Software Performance Meets Client Specifications.
2. Update Test Case Execution Status In The Tracking System And Log Defects In The Defect Management Tool For Timely Resolution.
3. Coordinate With The Testing Team For Discussions On Test Progress And Interact With Clients To Provide Updates On Testing Activities.
4. Assist In Creating Detailed Test Cases Based On The Functional Specifications And Software Requirement Specification Documents, Ensuring Comprehensive Test Coverage. Skill Requirements
1. Basic Understanding Of Functional Testing Methodologies And Processes Specific To Embedded Software.
2. Familiarity With Test Case Design, Execution, And Defect Logging In Relevant Testing Tools.
3. Fundamental Knowledge Of Embedded Software Architecture And Functionality.
4. Good Communication Skills For Effective Collaboration With Team Members And Client Interactions. Certification
1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Istqb Foundation Level Certification In Software Testing Or Equivalent.
