Step confidently into a rewarding contract role providing speech-language services within an elementary setting, supporting students and staff during a September-November maternity leave. This full-time position serves an engaging caseload of 44-50 elementary-aged students, making a meaningful impact by fostering communication development during a key phase of their educational journey.
We welcome applications from both Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) and Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA), including those with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). This is an excellent opportunity to expand your professional experience and work collaboratively with a dynamic multidisciplinary team.
Desired Qualifications:
• Valid SLP (CCC or CFY accepted) or SLPA credentials
• Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
• Experience or interest in working with elementary students
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Collaborative approach to working with educators and families
• Adaptability, organizational skills, and a positive attitude
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct speech-language services to elementary students
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Document progress and maintain timely, accurate records
• Consult with teachers, families, and staff regarding student needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support strategies
• Adapt therapy techniques to a diverse student population
