Plant ManagerGenesis10 is currently seeking a Plant Manager for a direct hire position with a Global Manufacturing Company located in Kansas City, KS. Compensation: $140,000 - $155,000 per year, W2, based on qualifications. Position Overview: As the Plant Manager, you will oversee all operations of the plant, ensuring efficient production, compliance with industry standards and plant-wide safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals. You will identify and lead continuous improvement projects. You will be on-site and will report to the Director of IS Operations.Key Responsibilities:Manage daily plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics and ensure adherence to customer specificationsMaintain a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and environmental regulationsPromote a culture of safety and accountability across all teamsOversee quality control systems to meet automotive industry standards (IATF 16949, ISO 14001)Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement programsImprove and ensure production schedules meet customer delivery requirementsMonitor indicators for throughput, scrap rates, and downtime; implement cost-saving measuresLead, coach, and guide development of plant staff to achieve performance goalsFoster a collaborative and performance cultureBe the primary contact for customer audits and technical inquiriesEnsure customer satisfaction through on-time delivery and quality performanceChampion Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma programsIdentify opportunities for process automation and efficiency gainsPrimary Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field10+ years' experience managing plant operations and large teamsExperience with chemical manufacturingIf you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
