CNC Machinist

Our client is seeking an outgoing and detail-oriented Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and contribute to the production of high-quality metal workpieces. Job Function Key Responsibilities Operate one or more machine tools, including special purpose machines and industrial 3- and 4-axis CNC machines, to produce metal workpieces according to specifications. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining requirements in English. Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and precision. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to minimize downtime. Interpret drawings (GD&T principles), manufacturing process specifications, and manipulate 3D models used in preparation for machining. Employee is competent and trustworthy to safely perform with minimum supervision and meet the requirements of the Machine Shop. Able to operate program and operate CNC. Ability to use all Modern and Conventional (Bridgeport, lathe, drill press, press brake, etc) Machine Shop equipment. Ability to Design and Fabricate jigs, fixtures, tools and dies for ease of machining or manufacturing parts in volume in a consistent and repetitive manner. Ability to identify appropriate materials and tool hardness for varying applications and maintain shop supply inventory. Job Requirement Skills and Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC machines, particularly 3- and 4-axis CNC equipment. Strong understanding of machining processes, tools, and measurement techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications in English. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
