Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact by supporting K-8 students as a dedicated Physical Therapist for a part-time position during summer school and the upcoming academic year. You’ll have the opportunity to help young learners develop essential motor skills and reach their full potential—all while enjoying a flexible 4-hour-per-week schedule. This role is based near Bath, ME, serving students from early childhood through middle school.

Your expertise will be essential throughout the short summer school session (July 7, 2026–July 30, 2026) and continue through the 2026–27 school year (August 24, 2026–June 11, 2027), offering you consistency and meaningful engagement with students and staff.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state.
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
• Knowledge of best practices in school-based physical therapy services.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt sessions to meet individual students’ needs.
• Passion for supporting children’s growth and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ functional abilities related to educational participation.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for students grades K-8, ensuring support within the classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families.
• Maintain detailed records of progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning.
