NOW HIRING: DIETARY DIRECTOR

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Dietary Director to lead our dietary department and ensure our residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals and excellent dining service.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the dietary department

• Plan and coordinate nutritious meals that meet residents' dietary needs

• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and facility standards

• Supervise, train, and schedule dietary staff

• Monitor food quality, preparation, portion control, and presentation

• Maintain proper sanitation, food safety, and infection-control standards

• Coordinate with nursing, administration, and clinical staff regarding residents' nutritional needs

• Manage food inventory, ordering, and department expenses

• Review menus and make appropriate adjustments based on resident preferences and dietary requirements

• Address resident and family concerns regarding meals and dining services

• Maintain accurate dietary records and documentation

Qualifications:

• Previous dietary/food service management experience required

• Experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting preferred

• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and food safety regulations

• Strong leadership and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment

• ServSafe certification preferred
