$35-$40/hour (Depending on Experience)

We're looking for a Junior Finish Carpenter who enjoys precision, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a team known for outstanding residential remodeling throughout the Greater Milwaukee area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled carpenter who wants to continue developing their craft while working alongside experienced professionals.

• Install interior trim, doors, baseboards, casings, crown molding, and other finish carpentry components
• Install cabinetry, built-ins, and millwork with accuracy and attention to detail
• Perform finish carpentry that meets S.J. Janis' quality standards
• Read plans and execute work accurately
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Lead Carpenters
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
• Assist with rough carpentry when project needs require it

• 2-3+ years of professional finish carpentry experience in residential remodeling.
• Takes pride in producing clean, precise work
• Has experience installing cabinets (cabinet building experience is a significant plus)
• Is comfortable installing detailed trim and multi-piece crown molding
• Understands layout, measurements, and finish details
• Communicates professionally with homeowners and teammates
• Is dependable, punctual, and committed to quality workmanship
• Wants to continue learning and growing with an experienced team

• Experience building custom cabinetry
• Experience in residential remodeling
• Ability to independently complete detailed finish work
• Knowledge of woodworking techniques and specialty trim

• Competitive pay of $35-$40/hour , based on experience and craftsmanship
