Position Overview We are in search of an adept and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Imaging Specialist to join a progressive team of imaging experts committed to delivering top-notch care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technologies, you will perform diagnostic procedures, partner with a network of dedicated clinicians, and provide reassurance to patients through precise and timely imaging. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct various ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedures, clearly explaining each phase with empathy and professionalism
- Work seamlessly with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
- Accurately document procedures and update patient records in the electronic health record system
- Stay informed of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Strong technical aptitude in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
