Core Office Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm No weekends! No holidays! No call! Pediatric experience preferred. Position is for the Riley pediatric gastroenterology infusion room at IU North. Duties include: IV starts, lab draws, medication administration and patient assessments. 8-hour shifts with fulfilling daily patient care, set in a welcoming and warm culture of excellent patient and team member experiences. Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. Two years experience in an ambulatory setting preferred. Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies. Requires ability to coordinate a number of functions for a group of patients in an effective timely manner.
