Physician - Hematology/Medical Oncology
Job Details:

• Join a growing HEM/ONC team of 4 MDs and 3 APCs with anticipated future growth and expansion
• Manage an average of 12-14 follow-up visits and 1-2 new patients daily
• Consultative call only, with hospitalists handling admissions and night coverage
• Approximately 10 days of call per month
• Provide regional outreach care one to two days per week at clinics in Park Rapids, MN and Fosston, MN
• Participate in weekly Multidisciplinary Tumor Board Conferences to collaborate on patient care planning
• Access comprehensive support services including genetic counselors, nutritionists, social workers, nurse navigators, behavioral therapists, certified cancer-care physical therapists, and lymphedema specialists
• On-site specialty services available including Radiation Oncology, Interventional Radiology, Genetic Counseling, and Palliative Care
• Engage in cutting-edge clinical trials through the NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) grant
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system in both inpatient and ambulatory facilities
• Leverage innovative telemedicine services including TCON, E-consults, and virtual patient visits
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology required
• Proven experience as a Hematology/Oncology Physician required
