Position Overview:

• Full-time travel opportunity, ASAP through late May
• 1:1 interpreter role for a middle school student, onsite preferred
• 37.5 hours per week, expected to be present throughout the school day
• Engage in all aspects of the student’s educational experience

Qualifications:

• Valid State Interpreter License required (ASL, Spanish; MSL a plus)
• Bilingual proficiency strongly preferred
• Experience interpreting in classroom and educational settings
• Ability to adapt communication style to the needs of middle school students
• Professional demeanor and collaborative approach

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide real-time interpretation for a middle school student in classes and activities
• Facilitate understanding between student, teachers, and peers
• Support the student’s educational and social participation
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards
