The Family Law Paralegal supports a family law attorney by managing a high volume of cases, typically 16 or more, through thorough legal research, precise document preparation, and regular client communication. This role is essential in facilitating smooth case progression and maintaining strong client relationships within the family law practice.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on family law matters
- Prepare and organize legal documents and case files
- Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and gather information
- Support the family law attorney with case management and scheduling
- Assist in trial preparation and court filings as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in family law
