Village Family Dental is looking for a caring, reliable part time/full time Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team! We are located conveniently between Jackson, MI and Ann Arbor, MI right off US Hwy 12. The practice has been in business for almost 24 years and is well known in the community. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional care in a friendly, patient-centered environment. If you’re a team player who enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and confident about their smiles, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and instruments for patient care
• Take dental x-rays
• Sterilize and organize dental instruments and equipment
• Provide excellent patient care before, during, and after treatment
• Record patient information and assist with charting as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Support team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications:

• Dental Assistant certification or equivalent training (as required by state)
• Current X-ray certification
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Friendly, professional, and dependable
• Ability to work well as part of a collaborative team
