Quality Manager (Aerospace) - DIRECT HIRE

Salary: $100K+ (DOE)

Location: Garden Grove, CA

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our Quality Control team in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing inspection operations, ensuring compliance with AS9100 and ISO standards, supporting production schedules, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Manager will play a key role in maintaining product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Quality Control inspection personnel.
• Coordinate inspection priorities to support production and customer requirements.
• Oversee First Article Inspections (FAI), receiving, in-process, final, and shipping inspections.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
• Manage inspection schedules, workloads, and departmental resources.
• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain quality records and inspection documentation.
• Enforce Quality Management System (QMS), safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards.
• Support continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, quality assurance, or machine shop environments.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Experience with CMM inspection and technical drawing interpretation preferred.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills; bilingual English/Vietnamese preferred.
• Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments.
• Approximately 50% sitting and 50% standing.
