Overview HR Manager — Austin, Texas Moss Consulting | Full-Time | W2 $37.50 – $50.00/hr | Quarterly Revenue Share Moss Consulting is looking for an HR Manager in Austin, Texas who is ready to own the HR function — for our team and for the growing group of businesses we support. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes initiative, operates with integrity, and is equally comfortable in the details and in the room with ownership. Responsibilities Own all major HR functions end-to-end — recruiting, benefits, onboarding/offboarding, compliance, and more Manage complex employee relations matters from intake to resolution Own the compliance calendar: I-9, FLSA, EEO-1, ACA, and applicable Texas requirements Produce and present the HR Integrity Check to leadership Lead open enrollment and performance review cycles Partner directly with ownership-level leadership — including the hard conversations Support client businesses in running effective people operations Compensation $37.50/hr to start, progressing to $50.00/hr across the first year Quarterly revenue share on work you manage Additional revenue share for any business you originate — no expectation, we simply believe in rewarding our team when they help us grow Qualifications PHR or SHRM-CP certification Proven experience managing complex employee relations independently Full competency in HR compliance auditing Comfortable partnering with and advising ownership — including delivering difficult news and pushing back when it matters Reliable, a strong contributor, and someone peers count on to move work forward Genuine interest in developing others, not just managing tasks Experience with EOS is a significant plus — we run on EOS and support EOS-operating businesses, so familiarity with the framework will accelerate your impact here.
