Faculty Group Practice Nuclear Tech We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Faculty Group Practice Nuclear Tech. Job Responsibilities Executes equipment set-up, utilization and proper maintenance procedures. Operates hospital and radiology information systems as they relate to nuclear medicine. Effectively assesses patient information and status, and follows appropriate procedures. Independently implements patient procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards. Independently implements non-imaging procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards. Minimum Qualifications Associate’s Degree completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology certification board (NMTCB) recognized nuclear medicine technology program. Eligible to take certification exam in Nuclear Medicine by either the NMTCB or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Required Licenses Nuclear Med Tech Cert (NMTCB). Preferred Licenses American Registry Of Radiologic Tech. Preferred Qualifications Completion of an associate degree or baccalaureate degree in nuclear medicine technology. Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
