A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LINE COOK

As a full-time or part-time Line Cook at our restaurant, you arrive each day determined to ensure that every meal that leaves our kitchen lives up to our standards of quality. Each day, you can be found prepping and cooking delicious food including meats, fish, vegetables, soups, and other hot foods. You maintain the cleanliness of food prep areas at all times and follow food sanitation standards to the letter.

You work in an organized, coordinated, and efficient manner, ensuring that properly cooked food gets out to our guests in a timely manner. Your attention to detail ensures that each dish exceeds expectations and is plated and garnished correctly. You love the camaraderie that comes with working as part of a cohesive culinary team in a tightly-run kitchen. You enjoy working in a fast-paced restaurant where you are never bored and time goes by quickly.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in kitchen preparation and cooking

Are you an energetic go-getter who works with a sense of urgency? Can you prioritize responsibilities while dealing with a variety of requests throughout the day? Would you describe your cleaning standard as "immaculate"? Do you have a friendly personality and the ability to connect easily with customers and coworkers? Do you have strong communication skills? Are you a fast learner who can easily adapt to new situations? Can you excel in a fast-paced restaurant environment? If so, you may be the perfect addition to our restaurant!

PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME WORK SCHEDULE

The typical schedule for this culinary position varies due to lunch shifts/dinner shifts. You can expect to be in the kitchen for 4-9 hours each shift.
