Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity, fast-paced 54-bed Emergency Room averaging 220+ patients per day
• Manage and prioritize care for a diverse patient population within a Level 2 Trauma Center
• Accurately document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC
• Float to other units in rotation with facility staff, in accordance with facility floating policies and Joint Commission standards
• Participate in orientation modules and annual competency training completed through the Relias/Net Learning portal
• Expect to work some holidays and weekends as part of standard scheduling requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications required (pending certifications may be considered as substitutes)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required (pending accepted)
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR is required
• 2-Step PPD and Flu Vaccine required – no exemptions accepted
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center environment
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-volume, high-acuity emergency setting
• Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills in a fast-paced clinical environment
