Senior Team Leader, Operations

Opportunity OverviewThis role presents an opportunity for a high-performing, leader of associates to lead within a core, essential function of the firm. The pace is fast, risks are high, and the opportunity for personal and department growth is outstanding.The Trade Settlement, Rejects, and Corrections department provides operational support for many of the firm's trading functions. This role is responsible for the trade corrections team, which is a large team responsible for the high-risk and highly regulated processing of trade corrections across all account and product types. It is common, in support of the core work of the team, for this leader to engage regularly with branch teams and with peers/leaders across the firm (notably, across Operations and in Trading, Compliance, Legal, and others). Beyond the core processing of trade corrections, this leader will provide strong leadership of the associates within the team, strong risk mitigation and risk management, and diligent focus on the transformation and modernization of the work of the team. Outcomes from this team must continue to evolve in support of evolving client and business segment expectations.Lead overall performance of a high risk, complex team, ensuring delivery against key performance indicators, strong risk mitigation practices, and full compliance with regulatory and supervisory expectations. Strengthen vendor oversight and partnerships, ensuring external partners meet performance expectations, quality standards, and compliance requirements.Provide full people leadership of the team, including setting clear expectations, developing talent, and driving accountability to ensure high quality, accurate outcomes in a fast-paced environment.Partner cross-functionally with Risk, Compliance, Technology, auditors, and upstream and downstream stakeholders to enable aligned, enterprise outcomes.Own operational risk across processes and systems, proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial, client service, and control risks while strengthening end-to-end process integrity.Lead operational transformation and modernization, identifying process gaps, improving workflows, and leveraging technology to drive efficiency, scalability, control, and improved end to end client experiencePosition RequirementsSIE and Series 7 required.Series 24 required within 6 months of hire.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.Minimum 3 years of experience leading teams in a complex operations environment with financial, regulatory, and client service risk.Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing talent, driving engagement, and delivering measurable outcomes.Demonstrated ability to improve processes, reduce risk, and enhance client and branch experience through thoughtful execution.Experience working with cross-functional partners and external vendors, including risk, compliance, technology, and third-party providers**Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week effective June 1, 2026Company DescriptionJoin a financial services firm where your contributions are valued.
